• OpenAI: AI-powered book detection from video frames

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We only share data with service providers necessary to operate the app.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Access controls and monitoring
• Regular security updates

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time through the app settings.

Video frames extracted for book detection are automatically deleted after 7 days.

You have the right to:

• Deletion: Delete your account and associated data
• Export: Download your library and series data
• Opt-out: Unsubscribe from non-essential communications

MyReelReads is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

8. Subscription and Payments

Subscriptions are processed through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple's privacy policy applies to payment information. We do not have access to your payment details.

Subscription management (cancellation, refunds) is handled through your Apple ID settings, not through our app.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, if appropriate, through in-app notifications.

Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

10. International Users

MyReelReads is operated from the United States. If you use our service from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
